Team at the 2017 World Snowshoe Championships!
The Mountain Peak Fitness & Red Newt Racing Team had the chance to run around in some snowshoes together in Saranac Lake, NY. Saranac is the 1st city in the US to host the World Snowshoe Championships! Several athletes from the MPF RNR Team were there competing and up for the challenging weather conditions that were less than ideal. Going from frigid temps just days before to around 60 degrees by race day, this quickly melted the snow, leaving no choice but to move the race from the town center to a near by area. The extreme weather change caused some panic but the community came together and made it happen.
