Strength Training while out on the TRAILS

Training efficiency and time management is paramount for a successful training program. We are quickly approaching the 52nd week of 2019! Life is busy.

Sometimes we can’t even find the time to workout in our own home gym but that doesn’t mean you need to skip out on your strength training essentials.

Many times in order to get in my strength workouts, I need to combine it with my time out on the trails. This can happen during a trail run, hike or a ride. I am fortunate to have Sam (our dog) in our lives and we live near an endless trail system, so we are out on the trails just about everyday. 

Here is a little sample of some exercises and movements that I do while out on the trails.
