Working on the Summit of Pico Mountain
During the past few years we have been slowly moving our personal training service to an online format. With the goal of ultimately being able to reach more people with a more efficient service and without losing any of the quality and interaction that you receive from our 1 on 1 sessions.
From the moment COVID-19 impacted the NY & NJ area, we were able to immediately convert to training everyone remotely and are now 100% online with our personal training and coaching service!
We meet with our clients and athletes regularly through FaceTime, Zoom, Skype and a few other video calling services. We have been working tirelessly on our Online Coaching & Training Services and can’t wait to share more with you in the coming months.
Working online with our athletes has proven to be very effective and in some ways even better. With many people working from home, we have adapted to a more flexible schedule allowing even more consistency to train with noticeable results. Example: cancellations are far less due to being called into the office, exhaustion from working many hours with poor sleep or cancelling due to traffic issues.
With our travel time commuting to and from sessions completely eliminated, we have more time to learn, research, build and to continue to refine our product to help more people.
We are dependent on good wifi and cell service now more than ever. Elizabeth and I use AT&T as our cell service, it works well for the most part. As a backup, we have our iPads connected to a Verizon service so if either our wifi goes down or our AT&T service is not strong enough, we switch to our iPads and tether our devices to it. This allows us to train and work from almost anywhere.
We are thankful for the continued support of our clients & athletes and we will continue refining our craft to guide you through the ever changing world of health, fitness and performance.
Here is a video I made just after Tropical Storm Isaias hit the NY & NJ area. We lost power, wifi, as well as our cell service. Prior to the storm I had plans to work remotely from Vermont while testing out my Ibis Ripley mountain bike from Ranch Camp in Vermont. Here is a glimpse of what one of my morning commutes looked like while visiting Pico Mountain.
