After a long hiatus, CRCA was able to regain access to Orchard Beach as a race venue during the 2012 season, returning the Orchard Beach Criterum and its long history to the CRCA calendar.

he races were great this past weekend. I really enjoyed the time! I raced early on Saturday morning in Central Park for one of our CRCA club races (May 30th); there is nothing like attacking a group of 80 or so motivated riders at 5:45 am right from the gun.

Another great Race weekend!  Heading out the door at 4:15am on Saturday morning to drive into NYC for a race in Central Park was no trouble at all because I was motivated to put in a strong effort in one of the most challenging races that CRCA puts on.

Today at 6:30am the gun went off and the 4th New York City Spring Road Cycling Series started!  It was a cold morning with temps hovering around 20 with the wind making things feel a bit more frigid.  Despite the temps. there was around 200+ cyclist that turned out for  the races to test their legs and see just how well their winter training went.
