Mendy Gallo
MPF RNR Athlete
Growing up in Indiana, there weren't too many mountains to play in, but I always loved to be outside. I moved to New York in 2002 and fell in love with the area! I started venturing out into the Shawangunks and all the beauty really blew my mind! I ended up meeting so many wonderful people through the local running community, which made NY really feel like home. The more people I met, the more exploring I did in new areas. I'm so thankful to those people that invited me to come along and enjoy the experience with them! I've loved exploring the Catskills, Adirondacks, and the White Mountains of NH, whether it be by hiking, running, biking, or xc skiing.
Cycling is probably my first love, but running has become a close second. I really enjoy commuting by bike to and from work. What a way to start and end a day! That doesn't always leave much time or energy for running though. It's hard to fit it all in, but I'll keep working on it! Within the past couple years, I've also learned to classic and skate ski. Skiing is such a magical way to enjoy the trails in winter!
I'm so excited to be a part of the MPF | RNR Team! These athletes have been to incredible places doing what they love and spreading the love of the outdoors.
