Trail2Trail Kettletown 50k by Ben Nephew "Should Have Worn My Orocs!"

As I was looking for a race between Rock the Ridge 50m and Cayuga Trail 50m, I came across the Kettletown State Park trail races in CT, part of the Trail2Trail series. The races are held on a 10k loop that was described as challenging, and there were options for running 5k, 10k, 20k, or 50k. After Tammany and Breakneck, how hard could a race that never got over 650 feet of elevation be?

Palisades Interstate Park Trail Run in New Jersey

We enjoyed a great trail run on the snow in the Palisades Interstate Park, using microspikes the entire way. We covered about 12 miles running along the western shores of the Hudson River. It was great running with my MPF / RNR teammates, Jen & James!

Team Trail Run in Sterling Forest 8/4/12

The MPF Campmor Trail Running Team, along with good friends, enjoyed the trails of Sterling Forest on Saturday. It was a warm one, with plenty of humidity to enjoy. We finished up the run with a climb up the Sterling Forest Fire Tower which was established in 1922 and then a swim in Sterling Lake.

The Upcoming 2010 Wasatch 100 & A Day in the Catskills

After a bit of deliberating, we have decided to tackle the Wasatch Front 100 Mile Endurance Run in the beautiful state of Utah. The Wasatch 100 boasts 26,822 ft of elevation gain and a cumulative loss of 26,131ft, not to mention most of the race is as at significant altitude. It looks like the highest point is 10,450ft, which is at mile 78.46, how fun, just when your fresh and feeling your best it starts getting interesting.
