Photos from the 2013 Manitou's Revenge Ultramarathon!
This past weekend was the inaugural Manitou’s Revenge 56 Mile Ultra Marathon & Relay in the Northeastern Catskills, was a huge success! 61 of some of the toughest endurance athletes around showed up to test themselves both mentally and physically on some of the most demanding trails in the country. The course ran along the Escarpment Trail, Long Path and Devils Path, while climbing 13 mountains, most of which had some of the most amazing scenic vistas the Catskills has to offer.
Congratulations to MPF Campmor Athletes Harry Hamilton for placing 6th in 14:29:37, Julian Vicente for keeping me company to the finish in 18:40, and to Zsuzsanna Carlson for finishing this beast in 22:41! Huge congratulations to all participants and a big thankyou goes out to the RD Charlie Gadol, Dick Vincent, sponsors and the amazing volunteers!
A special thank you goes out to the entire MPF Campmor crew - Joe Azze (crew, photographer extraordinaire, etc.), Iliana Dimitrova, Kate Cronaur, Grace Lin, Jules Moore, Chris Focacci and we can’t forget about Sam our gorgeous Aussie who carried much need Gu’s to AS# 7! Thanks to them, the aid stations we sponsored; North Lake and Dutchers Notch, were teaming with positive energy, great food and good times. We are already looking forward to next year!
