Here are our photos from the Whiteface Vertical Weekend in the Adirondacks of New York, which included a Vertical K on Saturday and the marathon on Sunday. Red Newt Racing had an epic weekend of adventure in store and put on another awesome event! A big thanks goes out to Ian Golden of Red Newt Racing & Jan Wellford for making this race a reality. Congrats to all of the runners who braved the weekend and without the volunteers, these races would never be possible. 

Whiteface Vertical K

In true SkyRunning fashion, Saturdays VK was 2.5 miles, with 3,300 feet of gain, taken you straight up the mountain! Full Gallery (105 photos)

Whiteface Sky Marathon

Sunday's marathon had the runners complete the climb 2x, combined with a host of other challenging miles, and in absolute epic conditions! The course was roughly 20 miles with 9,500+ feet of gain! Full Gallery (75 photos).
